Arcobaleno Pasta & Bakery Machines

I worked on site as Arcobaleno's graphic designer, working on every design aspect of the company, from logos to web. They design and manufacture food machinery, previously focused only on pasta but were looking to expand into a wider range of products.

Arcobaleno Logo:

The owners were reluctant to change their logo, so I designed something very similar, but updated to have less readability problems and a more modern look. "Arcobaleno" is Italian for rainbow, and also the name of the first machine they designed, which makes striped pasta.

EZ Fill logo:

EZ Fill logo

EZ Fill is a sub-brand of Arcobaleno for their line of machines which make foods with filling such as pierogies or ravioli. They requested that I use bright colors and the shape of a filling nozzle. The simplicity of the shape and colors makes it easy and cost effective to reproduce.

Website:

Arcobaleno's previous site had serious issues with coding, organization, and hierarchy of information. Their google ranking was poor, and visitors often misunderstood the basic fact that their company manufactures machines, not just sells them. After the redesign, the site's google ranking raised up to the first page for desired keywords for both main and sub pages. The navigation became easier, giving potential customers a clearer view of the company as a whole.

Print Materials:

I prepared a wide variety of print materials for both simple on site printing as well as offset. Designs included brochures, postcards, business cards, letterheads, fax sheets, stickers, signs, posters, and more.

Photo Retouch:

Since most of Arcobaleno's machines are custom made, it was not an ideal situation for photo taking, with most being taken quickly in the workshop before the machine is sent out. So of course, these photos required a lot of touch up for the majority of the machines.
